Nervous System Signals Database

Welcome to NSSdb.org, our mission is to map and understand the electrical-chemical signaling in the human nervous system aiming to restore defective signals in order to alleviate or even eliminate the negative effects caused by several pathologies.
Road Map
Check our plan
Talents recruitment.
If you are talented and passionate about what you do and you are willing to work for free (yep, we are all volunteers here) we certainly want to hear from you. Contact us.
Selecting targets.
Understand the nervous system is a gargantous task. We have to break it in manageable pieces. First we are tackling disfagia and movement disorders.
Build the database.
Our goal is to have a Data Definition Language (DDL) to be presented at the World Parkinson's Congress in Phoenix, Arizona, USA on 2026-05-24 to 2026-05-27
Collect Data.
Using Brain Computer Interfaces (like Neuralink's chip) we want to collect data (signals) from health people and Parkinson's patients (with 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 years of diagnosis) doing a variety of common activities like (eating, walking, writing, typing, drinking, running, etc.).
Neural network training.
Then we are going to train a neural network with this data in order to identify what is a good and what is a bad signal for several activities.
Signals modulation.
Using state of art Brain to Computer interfaces we are going to filter the bad signals and restore them the closest possible to resemble a signal from a health individual. This will alleviate or even eliminate the disorders caused by the bad signaling caused by several pathologies.

Call To Action
If you are talented and passionate about what youdo and willing to work for free (yep, we are all volunteers here) we definetly want to hear from you.
